Product Development and Project Management

The Product Development department comprises of two distinct functions: Pharmaceutical Development and Non-Clinical Development and Bioanalysis. The principle aim of the department is to undertake and co-ordinate all pre-clinical development activities and to supply investigational medicinal products (clinical trial material) for all Norgine clinical trials (Phase I to IV).

The role of the Project Management group is to lead cross-functional Project Teams, overseeing the development of both new products and product line extensions. Depending on the phase of development, these Project Teams may comprise representatives from a number of functions, including technical, non-clinical, clinical and regulatory development functions, plus manufacturing, intellectual property, marketing and business development departments. The project teams are responsible for overseeing the development of products through manufacturing, pre-clinical and clinical development, through to registration and regulatory approval.
